GitButler is our venue host in Berlin

Announcing GitButler as our venue host for Causal Islands Berlin in October 2024.

Thank you so much to GitButler for supporting our October 2024 Berlin event by being our venue host!

GitButler is a beautiful client for git "for simultaneous branches on top of your existing workflow":

We love Git. Instead of trying to fit the semantics of the Git CLI into a graphical interface, we wanted to start with the developer workflow and mapping it back to Git.

The GitButler client is a Tauri app built with Rust and Svelte that you can dig into the source code on Github.

GitButler's space lets us host at least a 100 people for talks. And as a bonus, Patrick from the GitButler team ran the video recording and streaming for Causal Islands 2023 in Toronto! The Schönhauser Allee / Kulturbrauerei area they are based in may have some additional space availability, as well as classic options like the Prater Biergarten (maybe a little chilly in October!).

Full details on the Community Edition taking place Oct 4th and 5th, with early bird tickets available for purchase in our announcement post:
